In collaboration with the Council of State of France, ACA-Europe held the biennial colloquium entitled "The economic regulation" at the Château de Versailles on 16 June 2014. Mr. Jean-Marc SAUVÉ, vice-president of the Council of State of France and president of the ACA-Europe, pronounced the introductory speech of the colloquium. Mr. Guylain CLAMOUR, professor at the University of Montpellier, has made a presentation of the three round tables in a speech entitled "Economic regulation law in members State: comparative approach".

 

The first round table discussed the following subject : "The organisation of economic regulation (from the perspective of the supreme administrative judge)", chaired by Mr. Piet Hein DONNER, vice-president of the Council of State of The Netherlands. Mr. Carsten HAHN, judge at the Federal Administrative Court of Germany, Mr. Giuseppe SEVERINI, president of section at the Council of State of Italy, and Mr. Alberto de OLIVEIRA, vice-president of the Supreme Administrative Court of Portugal, were the speakers of the round table.

The second round table discussed the following subject : "The control of economic regulation (by the supreme administrative judge)", chaired by Mr. Yves KREINS, First President of the Council of State of Belgium. Mr. Thomas VON DANWITZ, president of chamber at the Court of Justice of the European Union, Lord Robert CARNWATH, judge at the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, and Mr. Rémi BOUCHEZ, deputy president of the section of Finances at the Council of State of France, were the speakers of the round table.
The third round table discussed the following subject : "Case studies", chaired by Mr. Georges RAVARANI, president of the Administrative Court of Luxembourg. Mr. Jacek CHLEBNY, judge at the Supreme Court of Poland and president of the Regional Administrative court of Warsaw, Mr. Jan PASSER, judge at the Supreme Administrative Court of Czech Republic, and Mrs. Béatrice BOURGEOIS-MACHUREAU, councilor of State at the Council of State of France, were the speakers of the round table.
Mr. Philippe MARTIN, President of the Public works Departement of the Council of State of France, spoke about the results of the work.
