On 15 June 2009, the Association held his General Assembly, chaired by President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Luxembourg, Mr. Georges RAVARANI, and the President of the Council of State of Luxembourg, Mr. Alain MEYER.

The Assembly decided to adopt, on principle, the abbreviation ACA-Europe (Association of the Administrative Courts – Association des Cours administratives) to name the Association in the future.

The ACA-Europe’s activities during this year were discussed: two seminars will take place on 2009, one in Istanbul, on the 1th Oktober, the other on 30th November, in Brussels, the theme of this one is “Magistrate Assessment”. The General Assembly also talked over the Colloquium’s theme which will be organized in Luxembourg next year: how to do to get a efficient and quick justice? The database of the Association, the publications the association will make during the year 2009 and the budget of the ACA-Europe were examined as well.

Thanks to the Court of Justice of the European Community, the General Assembly could, for his meeting, use a room of the Towers, the new building’s Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
