Compliance status

This website partially complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as not all of the requirements listed below have yet been met.

Non-accessible content

Although ACA-Europe makes every effort to make the site accessible to everyone , the following elements may still cause problems:

  • PDF documents: Some older PDF documents and publications may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
  • A number of external sources are displayed on the website via an iframe. These are not accessible:

    o https://www.aca-europe.eu/eng/jurisprudence/jurisprudence2_en.lasso

    o https://www.aca-europe.eu/wwjurifast26_web/UK/

    o https://www.aca-europe.eu/eng/eurtour/eurtour_en2.lasso

    o https://www.aca-europe.eu/forum/

  • You may sometimes encounter empty links

  • The browsing tool on Reflets shows multiple errors

  • The Glossary of legal terms contains a number of errors (including contrast)

  • Unclear links are sometimes used, such as “Read more”.

  • External links do not have an indication (icon).

  • Links to PDF files do not have an indication (PDF)

  • Sometimes two identical links appear next to each other. (Redunted link)

  • Aligned text is sometimes used.

  • Language switch: the title text is the same as the text.

  • Sometimes heading levels are skipped.

  • Layout tables are sometimes used.

  • Sometimes text is underlined, even if it is not a link.

ACA-Europe is working on a structural solution to resolve these issues.
