On 16 June 2008, the Association of the Councils of State and Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions of the European Union held its biannual colloquium in Warsaw, chaired by President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland Prof. Janusz Trzcinski.
This 21st colloquium was held at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Entitled "Consequences of incompatibility with EC law for final administrative decisions and final judgments of administrative courts in the Member States ", the colloquium focused on major challenges in terms of relations between EU law and administrative justice in the Member States of the European Union.
A general report based on the national reports sent by each member court of the association was presented by Prof. Stanislaw Biernat, a judge at the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland, and his team.
The report led to fruitful exchanges and discussions between the participants, based on questions prepared by the general rapporteur.
